To efficiently, factually, and reliably select the parameters for the heat pump, tank, pipe cross-sections, and other installation fittings, we require basic knowledge regarding the heated property, its parameters, as well as the type of existing installation in the case of modernized buildings or the planned heating system for buildings under construction.
For this purpose, please follow the guidelines below:

1. Heat demand
On the website (which is not part of the GALISTRA brand), https://cieplowlasciwie.pl, calculate the heat demand for your home in accordance with the instructions provided on the site. This calculator provides a preliminary estimate, but the parameters entered significantly impact the design process and the selection of device power – please enter data as truthfully as possible, and in case of doubt, contact us.
Copy the link from the calculator results page and send it to us. The page link should look like the one below:
https://cieplowlasciwie.pl/wynik/bfep
In the event that thermal modernization is planned in the near future, we recommend entering the target data after building modernization into the calculator.
2. Your contact details
- first and last name: for formalities,
- contact telephone number,
- address or at least the town/locality where the building is located.
3. Description of existing condition – how the central heating installation is currently executed
- average consumption and type of fuel used,
- do you heat using underfloor heating / radiators / a mixed system (specify the underfloor-radiator ratio, e.g., 40-60),
- radiator temperature at an average outdoor temperature of approx. -10/-15°C, try placing your hand on them – is it scalding to the hand, or can you keep your hand on it?
- do you use thermostats, and if so, at what setting,
- type and dimensions of radiators (aluminum, cast iron, ribbed, panel 2/3 plate, size … cm x … cm),
- in the case of underfloor heating – has zone heating been applied, e.g., in the form of a manifold with actuators, control for individual rooms using thermostats),
- does the underfloor heating have a pump and/or mixing valve applied on the circuit,
- type and size of the cylinder (boiler) – if you are unsure – take a photo of the rating plate or ask the installer who mounted it,
- were solar collectors used for DHW heating (we assume they will be retained).
4. Photos and video presenting your boiler room/technical room
To clearly demonstrate the current configuration of the installation within the boiler room, it is necessary to take photos and a video presenting the existing condition. You may use a measuring tape to show us basic dimensions. While recording, it is helpful to provide verbal commentary on what is being shown. Please note that a recording made with a low-quality camera will be unclear and of no use to us! Upload the recording to YouTube – as an unlisted video – and send us the link. Alternatively, upload the video to Google Drive and share it with us by sending a link with access permissions. Sending videos directly via email is ineffective, as such files place a heavy load on mailboxes.
When making the recording, ensure good room lighting, preferably using an additional lamp and the built-in light on your phone.
5. Show us the entire boiler room, starting from the boiler outlet (supply), and then:
- specify the type and diameters of the pipes at the boiler outlet,
- show and comment on any change in pipe diameter or material type,
- be sure to show all circulation pumps, shut-off valves, system branches, possible mixing valves, and other significant components,
- show the take-off point for the underfloor heating or radiators,
- show the water return to the boiler, ending at the connection on the boiler,
- similarly, present the installation circuit for the DHW cylinder, from the hot water outlet on the boiler to the cold water return to the boiler,
- if you have an idea, show where you would locate a potential buffer tank and other system components.
6. Scope of installation works
- do you want to completely remove the old boiler from the system?
- do you require us to handle the removal of the old boiler?
- are you interested in a heat pump for Central Heating (CH), Domestic Hot Water (DHW), or both functionalities?
- property to be heated: existing (old), newly built, or under construction?
- what is your approximate preferred timeframe for project completion?
The complete inquiry, consisting of:
- a link to the heat demand calculation results,
- basic information regarding contact details and a description of the existing installation,
- a link to the video presenting your boiler room, recorded according to the above guidelines,
