The facility consists of two parts: one with eight stories, and the other with seven. This results from the fact that segment ‘A’ has two underground stories, and segment ‘B’ – one. The segments are structurally separated from each other, which ensures their mutual independence. Additionally, an expansion joint was introduced between the connector and part of segment ‘A’.
The transverse stiffness of the building is provided by reinforced concrete shear walls together with monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. Foundations in the form of a reinforced concrete foundation slab with thickenings under columns and walls. The load-bearing system of the above-ground stories consists mainly of reinforced concrete walls, columns, beams, and monolithic slabs. It was also decided to design the roof using HC-320 prestressed concrete slabs.
