The designed building is a hotel facility with the necessary technical and social facilities and underground garages, consisting of four segments, designated sequentially with letters A, B, C, and D. Building A is an existing building that will be extended. Buildings B, C, and D are newly designed buildings. All buildings are separated by expansion joints; additionally, building C has an internal structural expansion joint dividing it into two parts. The facility has 15 levels, resulting from the significant terrain difference at both ends of the facility; in practice, the individual buildings have the following number of stories: – building A: 6 above-ground stories – building B: 5 above-ground stories + 2 underground stories – building C: 10 stories (including 5 above-ground stories) – building D: 7 stories. Between buildings B and C, an above-ground connector with a monolithic reinforced concrete structure is designed.
